I can't make out the words on this evansville axe head
![URL removed] I can read 'Evansville Grand' but can't make out the next word. It looks like it starts with an 'L'. Any ideas? And I couldn't get a clear picture of the writing - it's too muddled up and rusty.

What was this tool used for?
