I am unable to find anything similar to this small fish pin, so I don’t know definitely how old it is (I think from the 50s) or what it’s value might be. It is just about one inch long and wide, is unmarked and seems to be enamel paint on the painted parts, but I’m not sure. It is in very good condition and I have more pics of it in my booth (sort “Newest” first). If you know anything about it, please let me know. Thank you!
[URL removed] The fish is painted blue and white, with red on the mouth and black at the eyes.(Looks similar to the current “Angry Bird” expressions!) The pinkish color seen on the fins is reflection. Only blue paint on the fin parts.

I don’t think the pin represents any particular species, but rather is a cute combination of various tropical fish. But, looking at the configuration of the fins, and the beak shape of the mouth, the artist may have been thinking about a triggerfish, filefish, blue tang and/or angelfish. So, if anyone asks, just say it is a “fantasyfish.” Who’s to argue?

This little fellas body looks like a shiny brite christmas bulb. I did a brief look around and found nothing even close but I think I would call him a Rainbow puffer fish pin. Thats what I would do. Anyone looking for Rainbow fish would find him as well.
