Can anyone identify the signature on this paperweight? Since it is etched and in cursive it is very difficult to decipher the name. The first letter of the first name is hard to identify…with the looping swirl over top it may be a T or F, next letter or two is hard to read then last 3 are TTY. It appears the middle initial is E and the last name begins with L and then there may be one or two more letters and then what could be a D, B, or L with maybe an A or O on the end.
I have searched for glass paperweight artists names that this could match up to and I am coming up with nothing. Description is in the listing.

I just can’t make it out. The letters are just blurred that little bit that make it really tough. I thought the first letter of the last name was a P not an L but you are right, it could be an L. Do the colors inside look metallic. I was wondering why you called it Dichroic. Are the swirls inside not just colored glass?
Hopefully you’ll be able to identify the maker.
Good luck
Lynne
You’re right – it is dichroic glass. I took another/better look at the photos and I see what you mean.
But unfortunately I still can’t make out the signature. LOL

I called it dichroic because it looks like other samples I have seen of Dichroic glass, although it may or may not be dichroic for sure. The swirls actually have layers and lines running through them and have a sparkly appearance which reminds me of Drusy Quartz. My pictures are probably not the best with all the dimensions this piece has. The clear part is like a glob of glass, kind of rock shaped. The interior with all the swirls and lines and angles and sparkling colors is hard to photograph as the globby-nish of it has small angles if that makes sense. My main thought was to give an idea of what it looked like and right now focus on the signature so I can have a starting place to figure out what it is and where it came from.
Thanks ccmom for the enlargement, although it is still just as hard to tell what it reads as it is in person! This artist needs better handwriting!! LOL
