Item description
Wonderful old flapper length necklace of faceted glass beads from the roaring 1920s. Hard to find long triple strand necklaces like this still intact – haven’t broken or the beads been scavenged for other projects.
The silver clasp is marked 900 and is equipped with a unique locking mechanism which is especially good because of the weight of the 35” strands. The rhinestones in the clasp are uniformly aged and the pearl at its center is intact.
Overall, it is in excellent vintage condition.
Not only can it be worn conventionally, it can be worn hanging down the back! It would be lovely for a bride, or wear with jeans to evening attire.
