This is such an interesting composition… woven metal mesh is formed into loops secured with silver tone gathers interlocking with other loop into station sections with 8mm silvery gray faux pearls (while they look like polished steel balls) to a length of 25” and equipped with a spring ring clasp. The tassel drops another 3 ” made up of 12 strings of slightly smaller gauge woven metal mesh and tipped with the same faux gray pearls. The pearls skins are still intact, no crimps in the metal mesh tubes, overall, it is in excellent vintage condition. The style of metal work reminds me of Selesian - European style in Victorian Era, but the construction is lighter weight, looser weave, and doesn’t show any rust which was/is typical of Silesian Iron Wire jewelry.
