The journalist, correspondent, poet, and author's debut novel is an historical saga of Australia's beginnings, showing the first few decades, including convicts, sea captains, entrepreneurs, conflicts, and various governors, through the eyes of Susannah from the age of 18 in 1802, to her old age.
A touch of age-toning to the end-papers as usual, else about near fine in blue linen boards with silver embossed embossed titles to the spine; in a near fine dust jacket, mildly crimped to the upper spine edge, with slight fading to the spine panel.
