SIGNED, dated "June '48", and warmly inscribed with "Love" by the author to the front end-paper.
Debut mystery novel by the radio script and then TV scriptwriter most well-known for writing '77 Sunset Strip', 'Spy Hunt', and 'The Silent Service'.
This suspenseful mystery set in a small California town, involves a serial killer, Lieutenant Gregory, and then an amusement park.
A presentable collectible.
Tiny minor surface flecks to the green linen covers, else very good, square and firm, with gilt embossed titles to the spine; in a very good dust jacket with fading to the spine panel, chips to the upper spine end, some short shelf-edge tears; original printed $1.98 price still intact to the front inner flap.
The jacket will be placed in a clear, removable protective sleeve, after photographing for this entry.
