? The Meiwa Kumquat, also known as the “sweet kumquat,” is celebrated for its delightful balance of sweetness and tartness. Unlike the more common Nordmann Kumquat, Meiwa fruits are larger and sweeter, with a smooth skin that’s perfect for eating whole. The sweet skin and tangy flesh make it a favorite for fresh snacking, especially among children who enjoy its candy-like taste.
? Rootstock Details: Grafted onto Flying Dragon rootstock, which ensures the tree remains compact, rarely exceeding 5 ft in height. Pollination: Self-fertile. Hardiness: Withstands temperatures as low as 25F. USDA Zone: 9.
