It is so named for its pebbly golden nugget like skin. Gold Nugget’s rich sweet mandarin flavor is setting the standard for all other mandarin varieties. Gold Nugget Semi-Dwarf Mandarin trees can grow up to 10’-15’ when planted in the ground, but are easily kept smaller if grown in a container or with judicious pruning. ?
