The Kanza pecan is an excellent, easy shelling pecan. The nuts mature early around mid September. Zones 6-9. ? This variety is incredibly disease-resistant to pecan scab as well as many other diseases and insects. This tree provides wonderful shade and produces very large yields of golden nuts 74 nuts per lb. This variety is also resilient to high-temperature stress. Requires pollinator. Pecan trees require cross-pollination to bare nuts. You will need 2 different varieties. ?
