I just recently placed some of my Bonanzle listings on Craigslist and now they are being flagged & removed. Am I doing something wrong? Does anyone have any insight into this? Thank you.

Craigslist is full of self-appointed CL cops. These are mostly people that interpret the rules the way THEY understand them. Then, there are others who do it just to annoy posters.
One thing that will certainly get you flagged is if you had any link to another site. If you had a Bonz link in your ad, that would do it.
Craigslist is self-policing. You can ask on the forums why your ad was flagged. However, be prepared to hear fifty different reasons from the CL cops. And every one will point to some justification for the flag.
I quit using CL except for something that is too heavy to ship and even then I only use it as a last resort.

Craigslist? Never had a need to explore that site.
Perhaps others might be able to reply to help you next.
Best of luck

I have not had any problems posting on CL to this day. I suggest making your listing pertaining only to the item and thats it. Be careful of the rip off artists! I have had 2 occasions where they wanted me to deal out of the country..its a scam to rip you off. Use caution on CL.
Re-list your item and I bet you will see you have no issues.

I had that happen once. I put an item in a category that they didn’t like. I had two jewelry boxes. I put one in home, the other in jewelry. The removed the one in jewelry. If you read their email, you might be able to sous out the reason. Figuring out what they want exactly might be a whole other deal.

I don’t understand craiglist, I put a tractor into farm/garden and was flagged and I seen millions of tractors in this section. Sometimes I think people do it for meaness.

Rdesigns, I read all the rules of Craiglsist and the listing is not in violation of anything.
Shawn, after your tractor was removed from craiglsist, did you relist it?
I want to relist the items but don;t want to risk the chance of losing my Craiglist account.
Thanks,
Ricky

I always make sure to add a link to my bonanzle site to help draw people in here. Now and then one of my posting will be thrown out. But mostly they go on for the full 30 listing. Don’t feel too upset when and if you get tossed out. If your sure it was maybe cause you put it in the wrong spot, be sure to try to re-list it in another one that might work out better for what your selling.

I agree, it’s the stupid CL police. People who have nothing better to do.

urbancowgirl25 your right, have once posted some notices up for a business well by the time I had posted within a half hour all had been flagged. Went and reposted a differant day no problem. Was a weekend night when flagged.
I just do not understand why people will waste time reading and looking through each city for one ad to flag.
So if you get flagged pick a differant day. :)

Remember these tips:
- Use links to other sources to support your opinions
- Use examples where possible
- Put yourself in the inquirers shoes: what extra info would be helpful?
Should I post a comment or an answer?
You can only post one answer, so make it count. Maybe your reply is more fitting as a comment instead?
Post an answer for:
- Replies that directly and specifically answer the original question
Post a comment for:
- "Thanks," "Me too," "I agree," or "Works for me" types of replies
- When you would like the original poster to provide more details
- When you have more to add to someone else's question or answer
