R designs was started by a guy who got to hear, "Hey, did you know you have a bald spot?" at about the age of 14. After several years of doing different things for a living and generally letting both his bald spot and his waist size grow, he decided to turn his hobby into a profession. This also gives his wife (and yes, even with the tempting description above, he managed to get married) a venue to display and sell the products of some of her hobbies.
Quality products are our first priority. When you buy something from us, it is because you want it to look as good and work as well years from now as it did when you first got it. You can buy other things from a big box store or a discount place and it will look pretty for a while, but that is not why you are looking here in the first place is it?
Our return and repair policy: It's common sense. If it breaks and it shouldn't have, we will make it right. If you use it for something it was never designed to do (if you use your box as a coaster or an improvised replacement leg of your couch, for example), we will not refund your money or repair it for free. While our list of examples are by no means exhaustive, I think you can get the picture.
If you see anything in the store that you like, but wish there was one little thing different, send us an email. Often it can be customized for you. While we are on the customization topic... If you have an idea for something you would like made, let me know. We will get together and come up with a plan for just what you want. Just be sure to give me plenty of lead time (Honest honey, I remember when our anniversary is! It just took him 3 weeks to make your present!). I won't bore you with all of the reasons why, just trust me on this. Design-build projects end up taking longer than you think. If it is a large item, local pickup is available if you contact me.
