Of my last 5 sales, 3 have not been paid. Am I doing something wrong? I assume Invoice is sent automatically, and I’ve sent follow up messages … still no payments. Can buyers be reported?

JMHO – I think it to be ‘funny’ and unnecessary to approve a purchase???
What for? Do we want to sell or not?
Why approve first? On what merit in the first place?
We don’t know the buyer anyway.
And what we have up for sale is… well… for sale.
Or is my common sense playing games with me now?

First off you have your booth set for prior approval before a buyer can purchase an item…if you want the buyer to just the items automatically, you need to change your settings so that buyers can Buy it Now
Secondly, most people are not going to wait around for you to approve a purchase for most items when they can just go somewhere else a Buy it Now
For the most part, you cannot do anything about someone who changes their mind…Until they accept the purchase and actually pay for it, they really aren’t a buyer. But you can block the ID of the person so they cannot buy or in your case, make offers (since that is the only option you have set up)
I assume Invoice is sent automatically What is sent is a message that you approved the order and that they can click on a link that will take them to the invoice to complete checkout or they can come (if registered) to log in and complete checkout…
To change your settings so that you do not have have to approve all purchases…(only offers…OBO)
Go to you Account Setting
Seller settings tab
towards bottom
Other seller settings
When I approve an order, send the buyer their invoice automatically (don’t prompt me to review the invoice)……DO NOT HAVE this box checked*….
Also in Edit Booth Setting
Payments and Purchases Tab
Allow items to be purchased immediately (“buy it now”)
Mark YES
Buyers will be able to complete checkout without having to wait for your approval…
If they choose to make an Offer (OBO) then you will have to approve and the buyer will have to return to complete checkout

I think many buyers do NOT understand the process. I’ve been having the same problem and it just started in the last several months. Prior to that I had very few problems. It seems more buyers seem to think it fun just to attempt to buy an item or possibly buyers who are hoping to get something for nothing. I think Bonanza should have a way to keep track of these buyers and after a couple false buys then block them from buying again or getting another account. Buyers need to be educated and taught to READ the entire listing before buying.

“Buyers need to be educated and taught to READ the entire listing before buying.”
Can’t see the descriptions anymore unless your eye sight is UBER good and you can find that little, teeny-tiny “item description” link hiding in the midst of a ton of obnoxious ads. Just had a friend – one I directed here hoping to gain a new shopper for myself or any one else – who said and I quote, “No one describes their items!”. I said, “Yes, every one does to some extent…” Then I went and looked at a nice coffee pot and sure enough, for the life of me I couldn’t find a description. Took me what seemed like forever for just perusing an ad and just as I was about to close, one more scan and my eyes fell on this tiny little link to view the description.
Unbelievable and NOT helpful or user friendly at all, IMHO.

This week I processed and paid for my first ever bonanza product. It was placed and paid for on Tuesday and no response or updates from the seller, today is Sunday. Is there anything other than the message I sent to the seller requesting shipping info and a message to customer service that I need to do? I’m used to sellers getting back to me within a day, so 5 days is unbelievable! I thought is was a pretty easy process to place the order and felt it was a good alternative to Amazon and eBay since the price was cheaper. How do you as a seller get vetted for a store account of any at all? I don’t want the canned response from customer service about this site having a great report with the BBB.. I may be out the money for trusting a new site.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
