I have a China Coffee Pot and 6 Cups marked “Manufaktur Furstenberg.” Above that is the letter “F” with a crown over that. The “F” and the Crown are dark blue the other letters look gold. I have no idea if this set is new or old or anything at all about. Hoping a knowledgeable person can shed some light on it.

Fürstenberg is a pretty good German Porcelain Manufactur.
With ‘pretty good’ I mean it’s up the ranks behind Meissen, Dresden, Rosenthal – then comes Fürstenberg, I would say.
I need to see a picture.
I THINK they are out of business, not sure. But I haven’t seen them around in a long time
Johanna
OK, I looked it up, they are NOT out of business.
Their lines are VERY elegant, est. in 1747 !!
Fürstenberg is quite expensive.

The F with the crown over it would make it aged from 1900- ? … I would need to see the picture of it to get more exact… 1938 they began to use the crown on all marks… Manufaktur Furstenberg means made/manufactured in Furstenberg…

Well, I have them too and I bought them recently! Even if they are old a lot of innovation has been added to its design and material. Moreover, they can visit [URL removed] to improve their taste. I think one should appreciate this innovation!
