I acquired this purse at a recent estate sale. It has the original tag [URL removed] Sundance Leather Co.,Quality Handcrafted Leather Designs from Northern California.
I am guessing by the design, heavy metal zipper and the shape of the leather handle that it is from the 70’s.
Finally figured out how to post a pic. Here [URL removed] ![URL removed]

Thanks in advance for any help.
I went on live chat to the Sundance Leather which is affiliated with Robert Redford and the Sundance Film Festival, but the girl there said she did not recognize the Logo as being one of theirs. And that is the only Sundance Leather I can find in Northern California, which is were the tag says they are located. The time line fits, cause he developed his Sundance Clothing company in 1969 and this purse definitely appears to be from the 70’s.
Maybe the girl I was chatting with was too young and new to the company. Maybe I will e-mail the company and send them a pic of the logo. Would that not be too cool if it was associated with a hunk like Robert Redford. Ah, but I dream

I would use Bermuda Bag in my title. That is what that style with the wood handle is called. I think it is mid 60’s. I have sold several of that style, but never saw a leather.
