I bought this software because I was familiar with this version of Word. I got a new computer and I wanted it on my new computer.
November 29, 2016 11:38 a.m. PST. I am so pleased that I was sold an new and unused, legally licensed version of the classic Microsoft Office 2003 Professional after searching for one that was not an OEM version.
I appreciate being able to obtain this wonderful software. The Microsoft Office 2003 suite is filled with excellent version backup, retrieval and easy to locate and resume features in the MS Word 2003. It has a good entry menu that is well-organized and logically laid out. My only suggestion to Microsoft Corp. would have been to provide for the same version-saving function on all of the programs, not just MS Word 2003.
I recommend this 2003 version of the Microsoft Office program, especially the MS Word 2003, to writers, lawyers, programmers, and anyone else needing to preserve and date/time-stamp their work to establish authenticity, use, authorship, ownership, origin and to otherwise validate their work.
I understand that Microsoft has maintain a policy of allowing its older versions of its software programs to run on all newer versions of Windows. So those who have established using Windows 8.0, 8.1 and 10 should be able to use this 2003 version on those Win versions although I cannot guarantee this as I do not use Win 8.x or 10.
I hope this helps those would like the tried and true. MS Office 2003 is that.

I've used Microsoft Office for years at work. When my home PC crashed I didn't have a backup. The price was great and the program is better

Was glad to be able to find a usable copy, after mine got displaced
I will have to pull out an older laptop to use this product. Which is not the seller's fault. Processing my order and getting it to me was very expedient.
