Mens Vintage Burberry's Reversible Wool and 15 similar items

For sale is a vintage Mens Burberry's Overcoat in a size 44 R, Reg. This coat is very nice despite having some flaws and signs of wear. On the twill side of the coat, there are some light marks at the top left hand side of the coat. The marks are in the same color shade as the writing in the coat pockets. They are probably some type of fabric marker, and may not be able to be removed. There are two small dark rust brown stains at the back hem of the coat. One is on the left hand side, in the center of that section, at the hemline of the coat. The second stain is near the center vent, near the hem of the coat. The stains look like they won't be able to be removed. There are a few small holes at the hemline of one sleeve on the twill side. There is a raised nub in the weave of the fabric that is on the back side of the coat. There is writing inside the pocket of the coat, which lists a name and date. There is no wear seen to the herringbone side of the coat. The overcoat is reversible. One side is a beautiful brown toned wool herringbone tweed and the other side is a khaki type twill fabric. The herringbone side is quite attractive, but did not photograph that well. The coat is very well made and seems very sturdy. The coat buttons up the front. It has button sleeve tabs. It has a deep back center vent. The coat is not a belted style. The coat has two deep front slash pockets which each fasten with one button in the center of the pocket. In one pocket is the large Burberry's label with the knight on horseback. The Label says Made in England. In that same pocket is the size label which lists the size as 44 Reg and then a string of numbers, some of which are evidently an order number. In the other pocket is the fiber content tag. It is blue in color and says Burberry's; cloth 100% wool, lining 51% cotton, 49% polyester. The labels are in the pockets because the coat is reversible. There is writing inside the pockets. One pocket says Brown 1986, the other one says Philip Brown. The writing doesn't look like it is in marker, although it may be. It is an unusual blue color and could be a fabric pen. If this coat was a custom order, as it appears to be from the inclusion of an order number on the size label, the printing could have been a part of the manufacturing process. The lettering may not be able to be removed. however it is inside the pockets, where it does not show.
