For sale is a Womens Vintage Banana Republic Wool Tweed sweater Knit Vest in a size M or Medium. This vest probably won't work for most due to the dated proportions of it. The vest has a button front, and a shawl collar. It has a great cable knit design in the yarn. The vest is 100% wool, and the yarn is thick, sturdy, and frankly, scratchy feeling. The yarn looks like a tweed type yarn as there are different colored slubs in the yarn. Please note that the proportions of this vest seem a bit outdated. The vest does appear to be on the short side, and the armholes look to be pretty wide, which may be in keeping with the eighties style. Measuring from the center back of the vest, right below where the collar starts, to the hemline, it measures approximately 18.5 inches. I tried this vest on although I am not a medium, to see how it fits. It seems to be oversized for a medium. I believe it would also fit a large. The armholes are pretty wide, and the vest is short. I am 5'3" and the hem of the vest fell right at my waist, so this vest might be way too short for a taller person. The vest might be okay worn with a skirt. This vest does not appear to have been worn.
