Marie Garcia – Antique Cigar Box Label / Stone Lithograph Attractive early cigar advertising label featuring a portrait of a Spanish lady with tobacco plantation scene, decorative lettering and coloured detail. Framed size 35cm x 30cm and image 18cm x 17cm. Marked “MARIE GARCIA” and “CARLOS GARCIA Y CA.” Small printed inscription beneath the portrait reads “TITLE DESIGN REGISTERED BY C.G. Y CA.” Presented in an older gilt frame with coloured mount. Accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity describing the piece as a genuine original “Turn of the Century” stone lithograph and explaining the traditional multi-colour stone lithographic printing process.
