Item description
CARNOTITE
Natural Uranium Rock
Weight: 8.4 oz.
Radioactivity Level: 44,100. CPM (Counts-per-Minute)
$35.00 plus $12.80 shipping
Shipping is ONLY allowed to USA addresses,
because of a strict regulation by the federal
Nuclear Regulatory Commission; No exceptions!
Radioactivity in Carnotite rocks is based mainly on
its uranium; however, it has been known since the
early 1920s that some Carnotite (mostly Carnotite
mined at Uravan Colorado) also is mixed with Radium
in very small amounts. Radium is nearly three million
times more radioactive than uranium; Radium can
glow in the dark; during the 1920s, UNDARK, a
radioactive glowing paint based on Radium, was
widely sold at USA hardware stores. It was even
painted on numbers shown on wristwatch dials.
SHIPPING: This will be done via the USPS
"Ground Advantage" postal rate.
