SILVERTONE KNOTTED NECKLACE Vintage 11 Strand Open Sautoir Ends 48" Signed V
This is a Fabulous SILVERTONE KNOTTED SAUTOIR Vintage NECKLACE!
There are 11 strands of a twisted silvertone metal chain. About 3/4 of the way down the length, the strands are knotted and the ends then dangle below.
This type of "open ended" necklace is known as a Sautoir. Where the ends are open and the necklace is not a continued loop.
This necklace could be adjusted by untying the knot that is there and creating your OWN style by knotting it in another place, making more than one knot, using a tie, scarf ring or other piece of jewelry to create a totally new look!
WILL REALLY DRAW THE EYE WHEN WORN - A BIG STATEMENT PIECE!
BRAND/MARKED/SIGNED: A fancy letter V on a metal hang tag
METAL: Silvertone bars and dark goldtone clasp
CLASP: Lobster clasp with extension chain
MEASUREMENTS : 48" in length, the knotted portion with dangles measures 7"
CONDITION: This piece of jewelry is in pre-owned and vintage used condition. There is a metal hang tag with a fancy V on it. The clasp is in full working order. There is scratching and finish wear present.
