About 3/4 of the way down the length, the strands are knotted and the ends then dangle below. This type of "open ended" necklace is known as a Sautoir. Where the ends are open and the necklace is not a continued loop. This necklace could be adjusted by untying the knot that is there and creating your OWN style by knotting it in another place, making more than one knot, using a tie, scarf ring or other piece of jewelry to create a totally new look!
