JURASSIC TODILTO LIMESTONE
(uranium) MINERAL ROCK
$80.00 plus $12.80 shipping 22.1 oz weight
618 grams
The rock was found, on the ground
surface near Grants NM. It
was prospected during July 2019.
Its activity level is in the faster range,
relative to other similar natural rocks and
above that of FiestaWare red plates.
Its response rate is approximately
3.6 times that measured from FiestaWare
ceramic dinner plates crafted during the
FiestaWare uranium era, 1936-1943.
The three white dots, seen in photos, identify
the surface areas with fastest activity.
Weight of rock: 22.1 oz (618 grams)
ALL FEDERAL REGULATIONS
ABOUT URANIUM ROCKS
ARE CORRECTLY OBEYED
(1) Bureau of Land Management (BLM):
Collection of rocks is okay for rock
hounds; ATM vehicles are not allowed;
daily limits on weight of rocks allowed.
(2) Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC):
No manufacturing from rocks allowed
without NRC advance license; correct
labeling; medical health safety statement.
(3) U.S. Post Office (USPS): Double-
box packaging of rocks; shielding of
rocks; ground transport; no exports
allowed to any other countries.
WHAT TYPE OF MINERAL
IS THE ROCK?
It is likely Jurassic todilto limestone uranium,
the most common uranium-bearing mineral at
this uranium field. During the Jurassic era,
200 million to 146 million years ago, the canyon
was a large lake. When dinosaurs drowned in
the lake, their carcasses were fossilized. Today,
the Northwestern Cliffs at the canyon are part
of the famed Morrison Formation, known for
rich deposits of uranium and dinosaur fossils.
Advice from geologists who can identify this
ore more precisely will be appreciated. The
uranium canyon is approximately 20 miles
NW from Grants NM. It is part of the "New
Mexico Uranium Belt;" 65% of all uranium
ore ever produced in the USA came from
mines located within 60 miles of this site.
This handsome rock was made in USA!
NAME OF THIS
URANIUM CANYON
The previous location name, Poison Canyon, was misleading.
The older location name had nothing to do with either uranium
or radioactivity. This canyon has several non-radioactive
minerals (e.g., selenium, arsenic) that are toxic if eaten
by livestock such as cattle or sheep. The new name,
Jurassic Canyon, is geologically and historically correct,
because the massive amount of uranium ore was released
to the surface here from the Mt. Taylor active volcano
during the Jurassic Era, when dinosaurs were common. In
June 2021, I found TWO fossilized juvenile velociraptor
skulls, both highly radioactive. If I find a third radioactive
dinosaur fossil, I will invite paleontologists (dinosaur
scientists) from Univ. of Chicago or from Yale Univ.
to join me here at the canyon, to prospect for more.
NEW MEXICO: TOP U.S. STATE
FOR URANIUM MINING
Historically, more uranium has been mined in
New Mexico than in any other state. WYOMING
has richer uranium reserves, but they are too
deep underground for large-scale mining to
be economically practical. VIRGINIA has
an absolutely gigantic uranium reserve at
Coles Hill VA, but in November 2019, the
U.S. Supreme Court upheld Virginia's
state law that bans any uranium mining.
BONUS 40-MINUTE DVD VIDEO,
NOT FOUND ON YOUTUBE!
Enclosed with the uranium rock will be
my original DVD video disk, dated March
2017 and July 2019. This 40-minute
video provides a narrated video tour of
the NM locale where many rocks can be
found through prospecting. This exclusive DVD
video program is enclosed at no extra cost.
(This video is NOT to be uploaded to YouTube.)
ALL GOVERNMENTAL AND POSTAL
REGULATIONS ARE FOLLOWED
These regulations allow rock collectors to
own and to mail natural uranium rocks. The
federal Bureau of Land Management (BLM)
owns uranium fields and allows hobbyist "rock
hounds" to gather rocks at those fields. The
rocks must be properly labeled, and must be
double-boxed when mailed. The federal Nuclear
Regulatory Commission (NRC) does not allow manufacturing
of anything from the rocks without an advance
NRC license. The rock parcels can be mailed
to addresses within the USA but are NOT
allowed to be exported to any foreign country.
LOOK AT THE LAST PHOTO!
DID NO ONE NOTICE THAT IT IS
A RADIOACTIVE DINOSAUR SKULL ? !
[ This dinosaur skull rock is NOT NOW for sale. ]
This is a Jurassic Todilto Limestone (JTL) rock, the
only type of uranium rock that can contain dinosaur
fossils (at least at this location, Jurassic Canyon).
This rock has 99,000 cpm radioactivity, and it weighs
12.6 oz. It is the THIRD radioactive dinosaur
fossil I have found this year at Jurassic Canyon !
It was advertised with other rocks RIGHT HERE
in Bonanza, from January 5th until today, Feb.5th.
(It was in a different Bonanza ad; NOT NOW FOR
SALE.) It only looks like a dinosaur skull when viewed
from one perspective; from other views, it looks like
an ordinary boring rock. My wife does not think it
appears to be a dino skull, at all; that its only
my crazy imagination! If you too are a skeptic,
then view this TV series on the Discovery Channel:
THE DINO HUNTERS
The TV diggers explained how there is often ambiguity
about dinosaur fossilized bones that are dug out of the
ground, when viewed from many different directions. Many
rocks on this TV series are much more ambiguous than this
one! This is the third radioactive fossil I have found at
Jurassic Canyon; I will save it to show any paleontologists
whom I attract to this digging location. The first two,
I sold, just for their uranium content. They both
were juvenile velociraptor fossils.
SHIPPING NOTES
I do combined shipping, so look at my other
ads, also. If you order two or more items,

when the parcel is mailed, I will refund
any overpayment on postage above
the actual cost of postage. The
parcel will be wrapped and shipped in
accordance with all postal regulations.
The following postal statement will
be affixed to the package
