Time to put him on here. Hope someone can give me a hint other than “French Spelter” “antique”. Would hope that he’s a Moreau, but not signed (unless that is on the bottom of the figure next to the onyx).
Oh help, help.

I think you are going to have to take it to a specialist. I could not find it, goodies could not find it, you could not find it. Your only realistic bet at this point is to take it to someone who will recognize the style of the work, and be able to accurately date it to a period, location, and possibly artist. High end galleries and auction houses are going to be your best bet for this kind of artwork.
The good news is statues that are done in that spelter style are not all that commonly found, so you should be able to get it identified.
Good luck!

Sarah,
I read your profile to help me try to find the answer to your question regarding the sculpture in the picture. I looked for similar items. You may already know this but there is a french sculpture name August Moreau whose work is similar. It is worth a try. I hope this helps.

I would like to recommend an online service – [URL removed] – this is, in my opinion, one of the most reliable online services for buying and writing essays and any. other written works. I love writing essays and I’m good at it, but sometimes I don’t have enough time – and that’s why I feel free to contact them.
