I am in the process of leaving ebay. I just need to know that other sellers from ebay are on here also. If so, how is the sales here and the traffic? I am so used to knowing if a item in ebay is going to sale or not, but I am not able to tell in here. Thank you..and other than that…I love the ease of listin in here. :)

People go to ebay-Amazon to look for something
People come here because they were searching the internet or google shopping and saw something they like. For the most part you need to draw your customers here.
If you have a regular clientele at ebay..it might be good to let them know you have set up elsewhere with some incentive for them to come and purchase here…
The ability to sell here is dependent on the willingness of you pushing your items (promoting) and ensuring they are google compliant…
Many are successful here, but they do work for that success

The traffic here is nowhere near ebay. You have to constantly promote your booth. I sell on several places, including ebay & etsy. I have two booths on Bonanza. My other booth does better than this one, but it is a niche booth for people who sew. I get my sales from web search, like ccmom said. When I sell something on another site, I include a note on the packing slip with the URLs of my booths here.
By all means if you have your items listed on more than one place be vigilant about deleting them from here if they sell elsewhere.

Hi,
I’m also from ebay and I opened my account on Bonanza a couple of months ago to see how it would turn out…
I have only sold one item on Bonanza and I couldn’t mail it out cause I had already sold it on ebay…
I ended up refunding back the customers money..
I wonder if the only way to sell anything on Bonanza is through enrolling to gold, silver, titanium levels…
Otherwise, you won’t be able to sell a thing on here…

I came here from ebay too! Too much telling the seller what to do at ebay! After 7 years of selling on ebay, I got sick and tired of the forced rules and rising fees. I just keep a small number of auctions at ebay and list most here. I get lots of lookers but just random sales. 3/4 of my customers here never leave feedback. Ebay does keep reminding the customer to do this duty for the seller rating. More diligent feedback by customers at bonanza.com could help increase sales for sure!

Hi all,
I moved my store from eBay over to here, in May of 2010. I have had 500+ sales since then. Mostly sales of small amount items. Not making a ton of money, but I am working at building my store and increasing my inventory. Good luck to all!

eBay has got more traffic; however, when I get a sale there is a whole lot less stress for some reason. I recently opened this booth back up again deciding in this favor rather than with my old booth, so in looking at the sales there is a gray area where none were made. Off of eBay, meaning here or other places to sell at, give it your 100% and let yourself give it a try along with good advice and fine tuning…..there’s always room for improvement.
Best of luck.

Sales were always a bit slow here on Bonanza, to the point that I decided to give it up for awhile. After three years I have decided to give it another try. This time I have signed up for the Silver account. I will keep eBay for certain things that sell well there, and I have good old reliable Amazon as a back up. (Not much activity there, lately, either) Selling is an art, one we must learn as we go. Also, it’s either feast or famine. We must persevere and never give up. A long spell of no sales is easily made up for by that one GOOD sale! Always, ALWAYS, give your very best customer service and remember that the customer is always right. You will occasionally meet up with a buyer who will try your patience and make you doubt your self-worth; just handle it the best you can and then, move on. And don’t forget to adjust your inventory if you offer the same items on different venues. NOTHING is more embarrassing than having to tell a good, PAYING customer that you don’t have the item they just bought! It has happened to me twice! The only solution is to never list anything in more than one place. In reality, though, we ALL do it. Sales aren’t THAT good. Above all, just keep trying and reading the post’s here from all the others who are managing to sell their stuff, while learning more every day. And GOOD LUCK!

Hi, I am also in the process of taking most of my listings off ebay. Just tired of the fees and gross lack of true customer service. I provided excellent customer service and have a good reputation for working with my customers only to have ebay slap me in the face on resolution cases. Hard work is not a problem. I work my sites to 3:00 am every night of the week. Hope it works out for all of us ex ebayers….Good Luck All!!

I opened up a Webstore with Bonanza and thinking of leaving my eBay store completely after they charget me 257 dollars with no reason and call after call there I only hear lies that they will refund me. So I decided to give it a spin here. I haven’t had my Webstore for a month and the traffic is amszing. I am hopeful to start getting sales soon.
