How to tell if buyer is receiving your offers?

Sent offer to buyer this morning, but I can’t tell if it going through or not. I don’t want to freak out this buyer, but I want to make sure he is getting the offer? after you hit send invoice does it ask you to confirm? should it show up on my open offers page?

If the buyer did not ask for an invoice or for you to send an offer, they just might ignore the unsolicited offer sent. Was this an item that the prospective buyer asked a question about??

If the buyer is interested, you will get confirmation of purchase, or a message from the buyer.

If not interested, you will probably never hear from them….just wait seven days and cancel.

I, personally, do not like the new system here that suggests sending an invoice whenever a person asks a question about an item…and do not use it. I will answer their questions and then ask if there is anything else…and the leave it to them to purchase or send offers

Okay.. I attempted to create an invoice for an item a potential customer inquired about, and it took about five tries before I finally got a confirmation page asking if I am certain I want to sell the item for that price, and when I clicked yes I received notice that there is a proposed offer waiting for the buyer to confirm. Whew! It finally worked.
