How to edit items using inventory file

Hi,

I am a new seller. I have imported some items from my Amazon store. I try to modify some attributes of my items using the inventory files. But it creates a new listing instead of changing the exist listing. Does bonanza have any ways to edit the existing items using an inventory file?

A CSV file can be uploaded and an existing item updated with new/changed information. In order to do that, the CSV file needs to contain a “force_update” field and the appropriate value in that field. Also, the item listing has to have an “ID” field. The ID field is how the system identifies the item as the same item when updating the information.

I have items whose sizes are listed in the title and in the traits… I only want to update the title, quantity, and traits fields… can I do this via csv or do I have to have all of the required fields as if it were for a new listing? oh, and I have force_update=true… Thanks !

Inventory file only imports the listings..to make changes to listings you will need to use the batch edit, unless you just delete the old and then re-upload a new file with the corrections

Batch Edit Items
Item Traits (click on large green button to change/add traits)

Search Optimize to change/add remove attributes
