I opened a booth here last month – not really expecting much. I only thought it would lead to an occasional sale to add to my sales elsewhere. I have been very pleased with better than expected results.
Anyway, my traffic had been growing and had reached what to me was a surprising level for a new booth on this site. Then about 3 days ago it tanked. I know the holiday rush is over, but I went from 250 views a day to about 40. Is there some technical issue going on? Has anyone else had a sudden drop off in views? (I have the “basic” level of advertising that includes Google and none of my settings seem to have changed)

Couple of things probably happened…
1) Bonz was doing a lot of turbo traffic ads for the holidays, for many sellers (sending out lots more ads than usual)…my guess is that they have stopped reduced the ads the time being, 2) it is now after Christmas, and views usually do tank even with extra ads..
and 3) the counter reset during a server update…which it seems to cause a variation or stop in views for a few days until things get back up and running…
And I am beginning to think that I am the only one here that does not bother with views…because they vary so much that it is really hard to tell what is going on…I have had 0 views and 10 sales and I have had 25,000 views and 0 sales…
Anyway, welcome to bonz and good luck…it will slow down now for a bit…

No girl, you are not the only one NOT being bothered by views.
I don’t care either.
Sales come or not. Just views bring no sales.
