Customer made an offer and the “Seller Open Offers” is not showing it. Any thoughts?
I spoke to the customer and she is waiting for me to accept it. As indicated above, the offer is not showing. I also tried to change the price to what we agreed to, and that’s not possible either because when she made the offer probably the cart is reserving the items. Any suggestions?

Also, question for more experienced buyers (I signed up three days ago)…Is this happening often? (I mean system glitches)

I am not an expert because I sell so few items here but long ago, when this last happend to me, OFFERS DO NOT INCLUDE SHIPPING costs so beware of that (or you ship it free if you accept it. Hate how offers work here.

when I went to take a look at your booth, it says it is on vacation.

bonzuser_jmnqt says: August 23, 2020

Atomicdiner the problem is that I cannot see the offer at all. I took the product down since I cannot see the orders :( Thanks!

abigdogmom , I couldn’t find a better option without deleting the item. Since I don’t have visibility to the offers (I made the assumption that probably I cannot see the orders either if there were any) , so I rather moved it to “vacation” until CS responds. I was shocked to see this tier based CS.

Recently, I had two offers from Buyers that were unable to be accepted. I had to have the Buyers remove the item from their basket so that I could alter the pricing of the item in the booth. After I modified the pricing in the listing, they were able to purchase the item without issue. I agree that

I’m not sure if this will help or not, but it’s worth a shot. I made an offer to two persons as a seller yesterday. Each offer did not go through on the first try. For each offer to register, I had to input it [URL removed]

I have had two offers from Buyers recently that were unable to go through. I had to have the Buyers remove the item from their cart so that I could change the price of the item in the booth by editing it. They were then able to purchase the item without any problem once I changed the price in the listing. I agree that their are problems with the Offer procedures and it needs to be made easier for the Buyer. Shipping should not be included in the offer price and the Seller should be able to reply and negotiate on the offer without having to deny the offer.

I don’t know if this will help or not but here goes. As a seller I made an offer to two people yesterday. On the first try of each offer it did not go. I had to enter each offer into the system twice for the offer to register. Perhaps this is working the same way for offers from buyers to sellers. See if the buyer can make the offer again and perhaps it will register. In the meantime I would report this glitch.

Hi..been awhile

The other problem with the OBO is

“You can make your offer during the checkout process as long as you do not live in a state where marketplace facilitator tax laws exist. Check your state.”

Are you sure the buyer made an offer and just did not use the contact seller option and made the offer through a message…
