Why do i need approve order when selling?

Hi. I have usually sold items here without a problem and my orders go through just as on another platform, however, in the past month I have received two legitimate orders which I had to click “Approve” on order to put it through. Is this something wrong with my settings? Most of my listings are synced with ebay. Thank you.

The same thing happened to me, but I think it was because the buyer did not hit the confirm order button after returning from Paypal. Just a guess. Fortunately the buyer did return and complete the purchase after I had approved it.

My experience here has been that when it asks for your “APPROVAL” it’s a HUGE RED FLAG that something isn’t the way YOU SET IT UP. Check the shipping amount first of all. This site does not match the shipping amounts USPS gives for weight & distance on the zone calculation charts. I find a Bonanza sale always shows LESS for shipping than it’s supposed to be (from my location to buyer’s location)! Be careful to NOT approve a sale where the buyer would pay less for shipping than YOU NEED to cover your expenses. Also, some buyers are able to make an offer and THAT would ask for your approval. (I have no idea how they are doing this, although I’ve looked all over the site for some clarification.) Tricky happenings… Be careful! “Approval” is a big red flag to me!
