What's up with the change in our item description pages?

Just noticed this morning that our item descriptions have been eliminated to no more than a small link and replaced with unlimited pages of similar items from other sellers instead. A single row of them at the bottom is one thing, but this? Some things should well enough be left alone.

I would like to know if the DEFAULT for this opton is NO, which would be fairer to all Bonanza sellers

I would like to know if the DEFAULT for this opton is NO, which would be fairer to all Bonanza sellers. Otherwise when new users join Bonanza, they do not get to see the item description by default. Also I noticed that when the answer is YES, the item link to see more informatino is AFTER the ad.

There is a search option called “similiar” you may have clicked that by mistake. If you are in that view and the seller has many like items, then their items will show up, if its an odd item and they have nothing like it then it will show other seller’s items.

I’m not seeing what you’re seeing. When I click on an item in my booth it comes up with the full description. When I search Bonanza and click on an item it brings up the full description.

Likewise, when I go to your booth and click on an item it brings up the full description.

Where are you seeing this, and what are you doing when you see it?

Could you post a link and/or a screenshot?

Something is odd. I just looked at some other sellers items and some where like mine but with unlimted pages of their own booth items. When I signed out and viewed mine & other’s items they appear as normal.

You may have a browser hijacker, or an adware program on your computer. I had something called “Safe Saver” I think it was called, and it REALLY messed up my bonanza. I had to delete that from my programs. Run “Malwarebytes” and “Spybot Search & Destroy” to find anything bad. You can safely download these free programs (there is a paid version also, but I use the free) from download.com.

I allow my own items to be shown – a similar item – you can opt to have more than one of your items show when they look at one of your items if you are at least a pro member

To Answer Brilliantly

Remember these tips:

  • Use links to other sources to support your opinions
  • Use examples where possible
  • Put yourself in the inquirers shoes: what extra info would be helpful?

Should I post a comment or an answer?

You can only post one answer, so make it count. Maybe your reply is more fitting as a comment instead?

Post an answer for:

  • Replies that directly and specifically answer the original question

Post a comment for:

  • "Thanks," "Me too," "I agree," or "Works for me" types of replies
  • When you would like the original poster to provide more details
  • When you have more to add to someone else's question or answer
