Every day I get on Bonanza and tag 10 items. However today the tag option did not appear. At first I thought that it was because some sellers had opted out of tagging. But I checked many sellers, including myself, no tag options. What happened?
Also, is there any plan in the works for potential customers to be able to search by tags? If not, what’s the point of tags?

Funny you should ask, I was just in the process of writing a blog post about this! The short answer is that we’re doing away with tags in favor of the product catalog, which will algorithmically (=automatically) allow for searching items in the same creative ways as tags did, but without all the manual effort of the community.

Not sure how writing a review on something 50 or 60 years old and is no longer made is going to make a relevant addition to a “product catalog”. Or “one of a kind” items, either.

BUMMER most of my sales are from new comers and they never leave fb so how can I expect they would write reviews?

How do items get into the catalog? I know there was an opportunity to add items to the catalog, but they where all sold items and now there is no option to add items any more. The catalog is not showing many products for some categories. I will miss the tokens, but not the tags.
