Site security

Have not been able to get a secure Bonanza site through Chrome or Fire Fox for a few weeks. It seems to be secure until I sign in and then the “I” in the address bar says it’s not secure and that passwords, messages, credit cards could be viewed by others. Could it be my settings or are there any ideas as to why this is happening? Thanks.

You do realize that only the personal information/payment pages, etc are the only pages that have the ‘higher’ security, ie checkout and your personal payment (CC) information.

The item pages, and common pages are not in the ‘high security’ zone…if they were, no one would be able to see the booths, profiles, or forums

and those pages will sometimes set off the security ‘alarms’ of some programs

I saw these types of warnings when my security settings were set too high. I lowered my settings a little and I didn’t have to deal with them any more.

So I would say it is your settings level being too restrictive.

Thanks. I really appreciate your responses. It just seems odd that I don’t have the same problem with Amazon, Ebay or Etsy. I had stated that the problem didn’t occur until I signed in but I was wrong, it is immediate prior to signing in. No https, no lock, just the “I”. Which tells me that even my password isn’t secure.
