Radio spots? have y'all heard...

Curious if y’all have ever heard Bonanza running radio ads?

Reason I [URL removed] While slaving away in the shop today, I hear ads for, of all [URL removed] DuckDuckGo. My first thought [URL removed] Well that’s weird. They’re selling ‘no thing’ at all other than their search engine, yet here they are – on the radio in MY market.

My guess is, DuckDuckGo heard iHeartRadio’s campaign looking for new advertisers and quickly answered the call.

Thoughts? Input? Theories? All welcome.

no, and the only time I saw ads outside of the internet was a Reader’s Digest story about bonz in the early days and I think there was an

And I there was some story on a morning show once when bonz was still in it’s first couple of years…but bonanza as far as I know has never had ads on TV or radio

Nope, Haven’t heard any Bonanza ads on the radio. They need to advertise on radio and TV

Bonanza really needs to get their name out in the media. Everytime I hear a news story about selling online, eBay is always the platform mentioned.

heard poshmark, ebay, shopify media ads

@TrinketBox. Thanks for that info.

@abigdogmom. With 21st century TV, the ability for consumers to skip through or never see ad spots, I see why TV ads aren’t a good spend. Radio OTOH, that’s where they ought to be, 110%. Thanks friend.

@ccmom. Same here. When I mention to friends IRL we’re on Bonanza too, they look at me like a dog does with strange sounds – tilting their heads with a bewildered look on their face. Thanks.

@MagnoliaScreens, you are right and that never entered my mind when I commented.

@[URL removed] I’ve taken a screenshot of your comment, recording for posterity – someone – anyone saying I’m right about anything. Lol high five

This is an official Bonanza response.

Hello MagnoliaScreens! Great question, thanks for asking the group. I can tell you that it’s something that we’re actively discussing. We definitely agree that there are some great ways to get our brand message out there, without significantly increasing our costs. There will be more on this topic this summer. Thank you!

Appreciate you investing the time to follow up, Greg. For what it’s worth, I notice the twitter and fb pages for the company are, for all intents and purposes, dead in the water…

…our social media isn’t great mind you, but as of now, I’m an Army of One. Poor excuse but it’s true.

I’ve never heard or seen any Bonanza.com ads before.
