My recent views have been decreasing…do views “fall off” as an item ages? As in, only recent views for a certain time period are counted?

As an example, I am diligently noting my item views, and page activity when I post on social media, to see trends. On 9/12/16 I listed a new item, on 10/17 @10am I had 67 views. At 8pm, I had 80, but the next day, I was down to 49! The reports show a 30 and 60 day view, so this does not make sense.

Views are calc, I believe on a weekly basis, but can be seen/monitored for 30 day or 6 months

Go to selling dashboard, reports and you can see views over time…and yes as an item gets older, the views tend to fall off over time…It is always good to renew/update, change titles/refresh listings after a period of time, especially if it has been around for a while..

Thanks for the input – I did go to reports, but maybe we are on different plans as I could only access a 30 and 60 day view. This item dropped views on the 36th day…strange. Appreciate your input though!
