Hi there, new to Bonanza & in the process of setting up my booth. I just imported my feedback from eBay & found that it brought along 2 negatives (out of 172) from a trillion years ago. In just getting started here, do you think it’d be better to keep the imported 98.8% positive rating or to start from scratch with none imported?

Keep the imported feedback because the negative percent is very low it is mostly all positive & shows a lot of customers were satisfied & left positive feedback. It also shows you have experience as a seller which is always a good thing. There are also many top rated sellers on here who have similar “imperfect” feedback scores the same or close to yours. Welcome to Bonanza & good luck!!

In my opinion 98.8% is much better than having no reference/feedback at all!

I agree with those who have already answered. Anyone who has sold for any length of time knows that you encounter the occasional problem or excessively nit picky/critical customer.

Yes, recommend keeping your imported feedback. You are showing experience with selling on multiple platforms. As a buyer, I always look at feedback of a seller.

What about for me? Right now it’s 98%. If I import from ebay – mine comes to a 97.6% rating. I only have 50 sales through Bonanza (from 2013) but 300+ on ebay. I have a 98.6% rating on there (due to 1 negative problematic buyer).

Remember these tips:
- Use links to other sources to support your opinions
- Use examples where possible
- Put yourself in the inquirers shoes: what extra info would be helpful?
Should I post a comment or an answer?
You can only post one answer, so make it count. Maybe your reply is more fitting as a comment instead?
Post an answer for:
- Replies that directly and specifically answer the original question
Post a comment for:
- "Thanks," "Me too," "I agree," or "Works for me" types of replies
- When you would like the original poster to provide more details
- When you have more to add to someone else's question or answer
