Increase price of items in booth in bulk?

I’d like to offer free shipping and increase the price of all my listings. Unfortunately I can’t seem how to edit all of the items in my booth in bulk like this.

Anyone know how?

Batch Edit (Update Items as Group)

Change shipping to $0.00

Select shipping
Set Flat Rate shipping
enter 0
Scroll down click on box next to word picture (this selects all items)
Scroll back up and
Large green button
Apply changes to all Selected items

Depending on how many items you have the change could take a few minutes, but it will show

To bulk change prices by a certain percentage

Go back to Item Basics

Apply Discount Percentage

Enter a Negative number to increase you prices by a certain percent, ie if you wish to increase prices by 10% enter -10

then select all items again (or what ever items this will apply to)
Large green button
Apply changes to all Selected items

WOW, I never thought of putting in a Negative number to increase the prices. Very Interesting. Thanks for that info. I learned something today.

I’m like Atomicdiner! Never knew I could put in a negative to increase. Very smart. Thanks for the tip.

if you put in a discount..then to return the prices to normal, you will have to use a negative number (ie increase the price back to original)…

this is why we need our old forum back…all this information is in those forums…of course not the updates since then, but the batch edit set up, how to do things with the editor…how to post pictures/information in forums etc…it has to repeated constantly, it is not easily located anymore

luckily I have kept the location of the old forums on my computer and can go visit them when I feel nostalgic or need to look for info that I had forgotten

ccmom, I agree with you about needing the old forums. It’s good you had them bookmarked. I just signed on one day and they were gone.

Be careful when discounting a price and then returning it to normal. If you discount something by 20%, then when you want to remove the discount, you’ll have to apply a 25% increase, not 20%. For example, if something is $10, and you reduce it by 20% then it will be $8. If you want to go back to the $10 price, you’ll need a 25% increase (or -25). If you only use a 20% increase, your price will be $9.60. It’s the math. To find the appropriate percent to remove your discount, use the following formula
[100/(100-discount) – 1] x 100

ccmom – Can you copy and paste the URL from that page here, so we can all bookmark it? That would be a great help.
Thanks,

Here’s my favorite forum thread… of course, a lot of it is old and may no longer work. https://www.bonanza.com/forums/7/topics/17385?page=1
