First off I was told it was free and didn’t cost a penny unless you sold something.
Then find myself “signed up” for $40 a month fees, BUT I get the first month free.
Second I listed prices only to see them changed to prices I never agreed to. My prices as as low as I can get them already
Third I transfer items from one site to another, but the postage is then changed from £ to $. I know, it’s a USA site, but if overseas sellers are allowed to use it, then it needs to take into consideration other currencies.
Fourth I delete said listings, until I have time to sort out the exchange rate for postage, only to see them re-listed, as if by magic the next day.
At this point I am seriously considering if this site is going to work for me.
So in a nut shell, any UK sellers who can advise where I am going wrong please. As by the end of today, I just may close up shop and try elsewhere.

Standard Membership on Bonanza IS free until you sell your item and then you will be billed a Final Value Fee. It sounds to me like you must have accidentally signed up for one of Bonanza’s Paid Memberships – which offer more tools and other benefits than the Standard Free Membership. Or could you have possibly signed up for one of Bonanza’s Web Stores?
Here’s a Link to a help page you should read if you wish to cancel your Paid Membership [URL removed] Cancelling is easy peasy if you just read the above page.

As far as the shipping conversion I can’t answer that since I’m in the US but if you have further questions send an email to [email protected]

As ziggy says it is free…you may have signed up for a membership while registering….it is kind of put in front of you when you sign up..and many don’t realize they are signing up for it
As to the [URL removed]
Default is USD and will always go back to that when logged off
Buyers as well as sellers can set their own preferences to what is shown to them.
The link is at the bottom of every page on this site…to set what currency/location they wish see the items…

Perhaps an international seller will come along and give tips on what they do…but everything is set up from the point of view of being in the US…
Here are 2 booths that are from international sellers, both have been here for a long time and may be able to help you with set up out side US
Jules is in Australia

Book is in Canada and has been here just about from the very beginning of Bonanza in 2008

Hi [URL removed]
I was somewhat confused too before I joined. After searching the site and reading repeatedly a few times, I understood that a simple Bonanza BOOTH is free, and I only pay a FVF when I sell a product. So I joined and started filling up my booth. I also learned that to get more features and help, I can upgrade to a paid membership. I also have the option to open a Bonanza webstore, which I guess is like a free-standing shop.
I’m sorry you were confused. I was a little frustrated too as I was trying to understand what my options were.
Take care and good luck,
Sandi
