How do i give an item away and link it to when someone buys another item in my booth?

I found the page to set up coupons and freebie options. But, after I uploaded the information on the “freebie” , Bonanza put a price on it and I can’t find a way to link it to the item I want to promote. I.e. by buying something to get the freebie. Please help

In your seller’s booth settings, under “discounts and coupons”, way at the bottom are options for your freebies. You have the following [URL removed]

No freebie policy specified.
Users can have one freebie per item they buy.
Users can have unlimited freebies after buying one item.
Users can have unlimited freebies without buying an item.

I use “users can have one freebie per item they buy”. Did you check that setting to see how you have it set?

Once you get the price off of your freebie, to link it on the paid-for item, grab the URL of the freebie and use it in your description as a hyper-link. You can also just copy and paste the link if you’re not into using HTML.

however, though the link is in the item description…the freebie is still in the booth and can be placed in the cart without the buyer purchasing the intended item…(another item). So be careful with freebies…people tend to abuse the offers
