How can i paste into the item descritption field?

When I copied an item description from my PC and tried to paste it into the item description field on the Bonanza Site, it told me that my browsers security features would not allow me to paste. Another window opened and it stated to paste my data again using CTRL C and then click ok. When I did this nothing happened. I clicked the cancel button and that worked fine. I tried to paste into this field 4 or 5 more times using right click and paste, and CTRL C. It didn’t work any attempt. Can somebody possibly help me?

The keyboard command for copy is Control C but to paste what you’ve copied into the box or description field is Control V – So try again using Control C after you have highlighted the description with your cursor then go to the area you want to paste the description into and use the Control V command *The CNTRL key and the C or the V have to be held down at the same time.

Hope this helps.

Thanks for the reply – I will try CTRL C – then CTRL V – see if that works![URL removed]

C = Copy and V= View. It’s how internet speak came about when Al Gore invented it.

It has something to do with the way your browser is set up. I had the same problem. Like masonictreasures said, use control c for copy, control v for paste, and control x for cut. It took me awhile to figure it out, especially since I started using Windows 10.

thanks for the reply – I will try the CTRL C and the CTRL V

Sometimes I find that it is what browser you are using at the time and what Bonanza will accept. It seems to change from day to day.

Most of the times, I use Firefox but sometimes when it dont work, I need to use Internet Explorer to do copy and paste. While I can get it to always copy into the description, My issue is when it defaults to plain text and not rich text with bold and colors. Makes no sense but whatever works is what it is for today. Its just quirky and sometimes I spend a half hour just getting one item description in.

Thanks for the reply – I will keep trying with Internet Explorer, then try another browser if I cannot get it to work.

Also if using chrome…just right click on the Command window and click on paste…and the text will appear in the window
