Hello!
We made a sale where the buyer purchased two items from our Bonanza shop. Thus, the shipping was less than we charged him. I’d like to refund him the overage, but I can’t find a place in Bonanza or PayPal for doing so. All I see is full refund options.
Can anybody guide me to how to refund him just part of the shipping he paid us?
Thanks so much and kind regards,
Barbara

You will have to do it in paypal.
When you click on the paypal refund, it shows Total Refund Amount which shows total amount.
You can enter any amount in that box provided and the amount will change to what you enter, thereby changing the amount of refund.
You cannot refund from bonanza, because bonanza does not handle your funds from transactions. Paypal new user agreement also no longer refunds the fee or partial fee paid with refunds.
To set up combined shipping discount on Bonanza
Booth Setting
Discounts and coupons
Use one of the options for combined shipping (either decrease the cost of shipping by a certain percentage or $ amount) for additional item purchased.
Or add a percentage or $ amount for additional items after the highest shipping cost

Indeed, even an incomplete installment discount will get a few expenses charged against that sum will be attributed back to your Etsy charge, regardless of how they paid.
You’d need to discount through PayPal obviously, however on the off chance that you go to “Oversee Order” and demonstrate that you’ve discounted a bit of transportation paid, you ought to get a piece of the 5% discount back on your bill. In any event, it’s constantly been that way when I’ve discounted any segment of an installment through PayPal, so I don’t feel that is changed.

Remember these tips:
- Use links to other sources to support your opinions
- Use examples where possible
- Put yourself in the inquirers shoes: what extra info would be helpful?
Should I post a comment or an answer?
You can only post one answer, so make it count. Maybe your reply is more fitting as a comment instead?
Post an answer for:
- Replies that directly and specifically answer the original question
Post a comment for:
- "Thanks," "Me too," "I agree," or "Works for me" types of replies
- When you would like the original poster to provide more details
