It used to be that when I made a duplicate of an item that I have for sale, the copied item immediately popped up, ready to be detailed and listed. Now it seems that you have to copy the item, then update your store, then go back to the listings page because it sends you to your actual store, and then sit around and hit refresh until the copied item shows up. Also, your main body text does not copy over to the new item. Is this a glitch? If not I’m outta here.

Use the Batch Edit Items function to select item(s) and then click on the “Duplicate item(s)” radio button, then “Apply changes”. This will make an EXACT duplicate of the item(s) and place them into the “Ready for Sale” state.

When on the add edit page…Sort the items by newest when working..to find the freshly created new items

I list items daily and tend to duplicate quite a bit, after you hit duplicate click on the “Items Ready To Post” button on the left hand side under the Add/Edit section. Brings it right up. Pretty easy actually.

I’ve just checked it and it worked properly on my end (I’ve tested it in 2 [URL removed] on 1 item “on sale” and 1 “reserved”).
So, try it again, if the problem persists, address it to B. support.

I find that when I duplicate an item, the new item turns up on the last page, not the page of the original item. I find this frustrating. It used to show right next to the original item. Now you have to hunt for it.

Remember these tips:
- Use links to other sources to support your opinions
- Use examples where possible
- Put yourself in the inquirers shoes: what extra info would be helpful?
Should I post a comment or an answer?
You can only post one answer, so make it count. Maybe your reply is more fitting as a comment instead?
Post an answer for:
- Replies that directly and specifically answer the original question
Post a comment for:
- "Thanks," "Me too," "I agree," or "Works for me" types of replies
- When you would like the original poster to provide more details
- When you have more to add to someone else's question or answer
