Community help guidelines

Welcome to Bonanza Community Help Page!

Bonanza’s Community Help page is a place you can get general questions about items answered from the community.

You can ask any general question that would benefit the community such as “What’s the most effective way to promote my items on Facebook” or “How can I tell if a Coach bag is authentic?”.
Questions should be short and to the point.

For questions about specific items, you’ll need to contact the seller. Questions of a personal nature are not allowed.

We try to keep support-related questions off of this page. If you are experiencing the site not working for you as it should, please direct your question or concerns to [email protected] so we can help you. You can also click on the “Contact” link at the bottom of any page to get in touch with our support team.

Good post, Wanda.

Now, if Bonanza can do something to keep those posters who post links to non-Bonanza sites that have no relationship to Bonanza off the site, that would be great. We don’t need to read posts about research papers, cybersecurity, etc. Those posts are put there by people who are paid (by those sites) to post on community boards across the internet. If you click on the links, those people either make money OR you end up with a virus/malware on your computer.

This is especially true of those posts that have NO relationship with/to Bonanza. And, these posters are not usually a seller or buyer on Bonanza.

Lately, these people have been showing up on Bonanza’s Deals & Promotions that is designed for Bonanza sellers to promote their booth and/or listings. Having these non-Bonanza type posts takes away from the ability of Bonanza sellers to do legitimate promotions.

Thanks for listening!

Perhaps those spammers should be required to post a VALID credit card or Paypal acct when they sign up and if it turns out it is in fact true spam, be billed a nominal charge BESIDES being removed by support. That may stem the amount of it. Make it Hurt them too.

Thank you, Tom! We appreciate you your comment and are taking further action concerning the links to non-Bonanza sites.

Or, perhaps the OP should have to have active listing in their booth in order to be able to post under promos.

You’ve led them to the watering trough. Will they drink? We’ll see!!!

To Answer Brilliantly

Remember these tips:

  • Use links to other sources to support your opinions
  • Use examples where possible
  • Put yourself in the inquirers shoes: what extra info would be helpful?

Should I post a comment or an answer?

You can only post one answer, so make it count. Maybe your reply is more fitting as a comment instead?

Post an answer for:

  • Replies that directly and specifically answer the original question

Post a comment for:

  • "Thanks," "Me too," "I agree," or "Works for me" types of replies
  • When you would like the original poster to provide more details
  • When you have more to add to someone else's question or answer
