Bonanza's spell checker not working

Hello.

I had emailed into Bonanza a long while back about the spell checker not working. Was told that it was something on my end. I updated the info on Google Chrome for the spell checker and it still does not work when listing on Bonanza.

So then I used Firefox and the spell checker still does not work when listing on Bonanza.

I’m wondering if it is simply something on Bonanza.

Is anyone else having this problem. If no, any suggestions?

UPDATE——-

I did go to my blog and typed in a typo on the blog and it caught the typo…so it’s got to be on Bonanza’s end.

Will just have to paste description into Microsoft Word to catch any typos, grammar errors, etc before listing the item up for sale. Another step but better than looking like I cannot spell LOL.

Thanks,

Sharon

as far as I know bonz’s editor never had a spell checker…I have always since 2009 have had to make my own corrections

Wow Sharon, I didn’t know there was supposed to be one. I’ll have to try to see if it works on my computer. I guess it’s the usual spck button in the menu bar of the text editor. Thanks! I talk about Grammarly below.

You might try downloading the free version of “Grammarly”. It catches it on just about every platform I use. [URL removed] .

Thank you lovesbirds. This is really helpful. I will do this and I’m crossing my fingers.

It works great when listing. You are a genius lol.

I like Grammarly, but I do wonder if it slows my browser and/or interface down. Sometimes the editing window pops up when I don’t want it to, and is sometimes repeatedly in the way. Still, I continue to use it because it catches so many typos/misspellings/grammatical errors. And that’s the FREE version!

Hello. Wish I could help. I’ve never used the spell check before, actually I had no idea there was one, lol. )O(

Thanks you all.

I could have sworn that it was working when I first joined back. I know at one point in the beginning of Bonanza that when I did a typo, it let me know because I remember posting about it not working at one point and another seller at that time said her misspellings were not being caught any longer either.

Now I am second guessing myself if it ever worked in the first place since I came back lol.

I’m curious to ask why our browsers do not catch the misspellings and grammar errors or at least the misspellings. They do here in the forums.

Thanks

I should say our browsers used to be able to work for misspellings when listing. There never was an actual spellchecker we could check off on Bonanza when listing.

The link LovesBirds posted for spellcheck and grammar works just fine, does not bog down my computer at all. I feel a lot better with this when listing now. Such a relief.

I highly recommend the link LovesBirds left.
