I have a knife that was found in Old Mexico. It has engravings like birds, owls, fish & ducks on the blade. The butt of the knife looks like an old conquistador’s helmet. The handle is missing. I can email a picture of it. Thanks for your advice & time. Ricky

Old Mexico didn’t really produce much of anything that spectacular as described. If anything, most creative items, as such described, would mainly stem from Taxco and Puebla areas (especially if it was silver)…
There are few libriaries in Mexico City that actually have old images and reference, all written only in spanish. The Frida Kahlo foundation provides several links for research. That’s the best info I can steer you to, atmost. Good luck in your discoveries next!

Yes, a pix is worth 1000 words! If you send one, I’ll be happy to take a look…you can post a pix here but I’m not real sure of all the steps—it’s a bit complicated—but, if you do master it, it gets dead easy.
You right click the thumbnail shot, right click properties, right click property attributes to get the pix’s address[?][this is the part I usually screw up], copy and paste between 2 [!!] with no spaces between them….and, it should, or may work!?
If all else fails—you want I should write down my street address?
