For the past 2 weeks, I’ve been having trouble getting to the pay screen when creating a Click-N-Ship label.
I can get the label created but when I get to the point to pay, I get a screen that states “This Service is Currently Unavailable – Return to USPS.com”. I return and can see my label in my Shipping Cart but I try to pay again and get the same error screen.
It seems hit and miss as sometimes I have no trouble but it’s really getting annoying. I missed sending a package out today because I kept getting that error at USPS.com. I tried for over an hour and still can’t get it to go through to payment.
This is for Region A & Region B boxes that must be printed online.
I’ve contacted USPS and they are to call me but was wondering if anyone else is having this issue?

Are you getting this message when going thru bonanza for their labels or on paypal? I use paypal for my labels, and I get the same message every now and then. I actually used to get it quite a bit some months ago, but it doesn’t seem as bad lately, or maybe im just not creating as many labels. Usually after I log out of paypal once, and try it again, it would go thru fine.

Seems USPS site has been having some flaky issues lately. Just yesterday, I used it for something I sold here because Bonz dont offer the Priority Flat Rate BUBBLE Envelope (different than the Priority Flat Rate envelope) and it allowed me to pay for it thru Paypal (after signing in of course) but would not print the label until I downloaded it to a PDF file. It just was not responding as I hit it to print THREE times before downloading it to the PDF file and whamo, the 3 labels printed (and it was not from the PDF file that I downloaded). Just weird. At least I only PAID for it once. Dropped item a at PO this AM and told clerk about it and they look at you like you got 2 heads. They dont have a clue.

I received an emailed response from USPS even though I asked them to call me.
Their solutions [URL removed]
1. Clearing your browser’s cached memory and history.
2. Enable Cookies for your browser.
3. Ensure that your browser has the manufacturer’s 128-bit encryption pack installed.
4. If you are using Internet Explorer, please make sure you are using version 7.0 or higher.
5. Adding the website to your list of trusted internet sites.
I had already cleared my cache and browsing history (didn’t help) and cookies are enabled on my computer. I’m using Firefox and it’s the most recent update so I assume the 128 bit encryption pack is installed So all in all nothing very helpful for me but perhaps the list will help someone here.
I was finally able to pay for the label on Saturday evening after tying every so often since 10 a.m. that morning. I haven’t needed to print another label from USPS.com since then so I don’t know if the problem has resolved or not.
I thank you for your responses. Take care.
