What's a good unbreakable r/c toy for 3 y.o. ?

You know, like a truck, motorcycle, whatever…just so it can take abuse without breaking and doesn’t eat batteries?

…and not too complicated. Just a few buttons.

EDIT to [URL removed] r/c = remote control.

EDIT [URL removed] sorry, but I am JUST looking for remote control vehicles.

3rd [URL removed] Preferrably one that doesn’t eat batteries…even rechargeable batteries take up to 4 hours to recharge, if not more…I’d rather have 2 sets of rechargeable batteries, as opposed to 3 sets, if you know what I mean.

The BARREL Of MONKEYS that was so popular in 70’s will be a “best of” collection this Xmas. Word has it, within retail merchandising, to be one of the top 10 toys for this year. Better get it now before they make that official announcement the day after Thanksgiving Day and folks run out to the stores to find it

Fisher-Price have an excellent reputation . Normally very well constructed with sturdy materials .
Not usually a “Top 10 gosh must have item”
so they aren’t overpriced junk either.

disney makes a really cute remote control lightening mcqueen car, has one button if i remember correctly and there is a line (cant remember who) makes a series of my first remote control cars/trucks and they have 2 buttons. both didnt use many batteries as long as it was kept on bare floor or very short carpet.

Fisher price and Little Tikes both made a “My First Remote Control”. Fisher Price’s was a police car, one botton on a steering wheel sahped remote, and the Little Tikes was a pickup, I think the remote had one or two buttons.

Hope this helps!

Whatever you use, it may be a good idea to use RECHARGABLE batteries.

Just get your self a solar and or mains powered battery charger, a bunch of rechargable batteries (AA,AAA,C,D etc)…Keep a set of batteries in the toy & the other set charged/charging ….and……… little child can pllay all day long!!

Rechargable batteries can usually be (re-)used about 2-3,000 times! so well worth the little extra initial purchase cost .

Happy Buying & selling all

Ok this isn’t a normal r/c car but my son still has this STARTER UP STEVE truck he has had since he was a baby, and all other kids who visit love it too it does take batteries but seem to last.
U program this truck to go where u want it to go push buttons left right stop pop a wheelie and it talks and makes noises.

And i also agree with above too a tonka truck is always lasting.

I think all remote control cars are meant to break. My son would break them all. Get him a bike, skates, skateboard, basketball, etc. A little exercise is better then just standing around with a remote in your hands.

Fisher price little people toys are great and a lot of fun. Simple, sturdy and most don’t use batteries. I even love playing with them! The construction toys make sounds and have moving parts etc.

Imagine a cross-eyed graphic here.

Thanks to the folks who tried to help answer the question, instead of trying to convince me not to get an r/c.

If you are spending too much on batteries, try re-chargable ones. I have saved sooo much money since I bought an 8 pack of AA batteries and a charger for 4. use four and keep four in the charger for backup. They are worth every penny.

Hello the mini Coke can cars are awsome for 3 year olds. They are very durable and fun. My three year old dropped his in my dogs water bowl and it still works. This car charges right off the remote in less than 45 seconds and only requires 2 AA batteries. I hope this helps!!
