Need help to identify a record player

I have an old record player that has the crank handle on the side. In the inside of the top it says “Rishell”. Can anyone give me any information about the player or does anyone know where I can search for information. I’m searched the web and have not been able to locate any information.

Use “Rishell Victrola” within your googl search and then click the “images” on upper left tab and it will take you to many different photos and types to help you decide…good luck

Thanks to all who responded. I’ll try and post some pics this weekend and maybe that will help. I’ve also decided to just call some antique dealers to see if they have any info or can point me in the right direction. Again, thanks for all your help and thanks to Bonanzle for supply us with a way to ask questions like this.

I googled Rishell and came up with this site. A conversation about a Rishell. I didn’t read it all but does have some neat pics and what appears to some decent info.

To Answer Brilliantly

Remember these tips:

  • Use links to other sources to support your opinions
  • Use examples where possible
  • Put yourself in the inquirers shoes: what extra info would be helpful?

Should I post a comment or an answer?

You can only post one answer, so make it count. Maybe your reply is more fitting as a comment instead?

Post an answer for:

  • Replies that directly and specifically answer the original question

Post a comment for:

  • "Thanks," "Me too," "I agree," or "Works for me" types of replies
  • When you would like the original poster to provide more details
  • When you have more to add to someone else's question or answer
