Traits vs. attributes

Hi folks!
Man, I’m going looney! Just when I thought my booth was up to snuff…I see this thing about putting attributes on all your items…in [[ ]] brackets…Are these the right brackets and they should go under your description? Now, I thought that traits were one in the same thing—the thing google uses to list your products…If someone, anyone could show me the way—I’d be deeply appreciative! It’s frustrating to be so pc un-savvy!
Thanks for your time and effort!

on your “my bonanzle page”, in the left side bar; scroll down to ‘Optimize for Google’ and click.

Add Google Attributes
For the true overachiever, you can manually specify Google “product attributes” that Google Product Search uses to categorize and expose your items to buyers. Setup your Google Attributes here or read more about Google attributes here

This is what you’ll get. It is everything you would of ever hoped for

I have a tempalte inmy word file that I cut and paste after every item description and fill in the blanks. when i enter the item and update, the attributes go bye bye BUT if you go to the batch edit and click on otimize—-alas, there they are.
If you are seeing them on your item after you’ve updated and check the item as a buyer would see it, then you erred with something and need to correct it.

Hi
go to the help section up there at the top and then type in attributes. Click and see what is available for info.

Repeat by also doing it for traits.

I think there may also be some videos here that explain how to do these. Check the videos so you can see what they are talking about. It is somewhat confusing, so don’t be hard on yourself.

Lastly Momspennies may be able to assist you better than I can,

Good Luck.

I prioritized Google attributes before the traits. The good thing about Bonanzle is that you can copy and paste the entire set of Google attributes as a batch unlike ’certain" auction sites where you have to submit each G attribute in EACH SPACE individually..per item on sale.

Thank you, thank you, thank you! I was unaware of how to do this also. Could be why I’m not having many sales. I’m very glad that ravenstalin brought this subject up! :)

Wow! Thanks for the fast help! Now RoyalCollection…hello! And, could you elaborate about copy/pasting the entire set of google attributes as a batch-thing? I couldn’t get my head to wrap around that…And also—hello to cookieGrandma! [isn’t this computer-jazz a mess?]
OK, it’s off to the drawing boards!
Thanks all!

It’s much easier to list attributes and traits on each item as you list.
