Anchor Hocking Medallion Pattern Identified. Thanks!

I’ve borrowed this picture to place here to help to positively identify the maker and pattern. Time of production would be helpful too. The seller lists the same decanter on 3 different selling sites and calls it Federal Glass Chrysanthemum. A search brings up nothing else under this maker/pattern name.

My problem is that there is no other Federal Glass Chrysanthemum glass that I can find anywhere. It may possibly be misidentified. Or it may be correct, and I’m barking up the wrong tree. I have some of this pattern to list, so I’m hoping we can either confirm or identify the maker, pattern and period of production so I can be as accurate as possible.

This item does not have the Federal F in a Shield mark. I know Federal made lots of glass without that mark. It’s bottom is patterned the same as the “flower” or starburst on the side.

@JG… Thanks for the link. How does one find a company’s summary page like that? I’ve always only been able to find the long lists. Petal clear pattern is quite close but not exact.

No chrysanthemum pattern listed under Federal Glass at Replacements.com by name. Had looked earlier. After checking all those with pictures at that excellent link, I’m thinking this piece isn’t Federal Glass.

Any ideas?

@RedbirdRidge Anchor Hocking Medallion sure looks like it’s the pattern. Especially if you look at the side of the bowl they show at your link. Too bad mine isn’t irridescent like the one they show.

I do believe you are correct! I will do a search for more examples and perhaps can reply definitely.

That’s It!

@EuropeanGoodies… You are right. Definitely pressed glass with seams and all. Thanks for contributing. We figured it out. It’s Anchor Hocking Medallion.
